ANAS: 1,3 billions of investments for new maintenance work on the national territory

Second half with tenders for over 1,3 billion for Anas (FS Italiane Group). The Company has published in the Official Gazette a tender for the rehabilitation of the pavement with a total value of 520 million euro which, as part of the #bastabuche plan, joins the 380 million, published last June. Furthermore, by the end of November, a call for tenders for maintenance work on bridges and viaducts worth 380 million will be published in the Official Journal.

"Anas - said the Managing Director Massimo Simonini - is working at full capacity to activate new sites on the national territory both to contribute to the relaunch of the sector and to make our country more competitive with safe, modern and efficient infrastructures. With this new tender from 520 million euros for new road paving, the #bastabuche Plan, launched in December of the 2015, reaches the VII tranche with a total investment of over 2 billion euros across our entire network ".

Anas has subjected the 30.000 kilometers of managed roads and highways to a robust maintenance and the new tranche of the #bastabuche plan will allow to carry out interventions of pavement and remaking of the horizontal signs also on the 3.000 km of roads returned by the Regions and by the Provinces that , after years of abandonment, they will be able to significantly increase their levels of service, safety and quality.

The tender for new pavement works by 520 million, published in the last few days in the Gazzetta, is divided into 20 lots for the whole national territory.

The four-year contracts will be activated through the Framework Agreement which guarantees the possibility of starting the works as quickly as possible with respect to road maintenance planning, thus saving time and greater efficiency in execution.
