Angelini Pharma's commitment continues to help those who fight in the front line against the spread of COVID-19, starting from general practitioners. The company will donate over 70.000 bottles and over 500.000 sachets of Amuchina® gel to SIMG, the Italian Society of General Practitioners, and to FIMMG, the Italian Federation of General Practitioners, in order to allow healthcare professionals and patients who access disinfection of hands at medical offices.
"We received with great pleasure this large quantity of disinfectant gel which was given with extreme sensitivity and courtesy to the General Practitioners of the Association I represent and other Associations of General Medicine - said Claudio Cricelli, President of the Italian Society of General Practitioners (SIMG) - We have already started sending coordinated products to the doctors received: these are indispensable devices and unfortunately, given the emergency situation, they are not always easy to find. I therefore wish to express our gratitude for this unconditional donation which strengthens solidarity between the professionals of General Medicine and companies in the health sector. The joint effort of all of us will allow the country to face and overcome even this tough test ".
An extraordinary commitment in a still emergency context, to which Angelini Pharma responded with the production plants of Casella and Ancona, as well as a third authorized production line, in which they work tirelessly, seven days a week, to satisfy an unprecedented request.

That's why SIMG, assisted by local FIMMG representatives, will immediately distribute these 70.000 30ml vials, together with the disposable sachets, to general practitioners of Tuscany, a region still under a lot of stress due to the virus. A donation that demonstrates a great sensitivity that helps us stem a threat from which no one can say shelter".
Aware of the new and extraordinary disinfection request linked to the current situation, Angelini Pharma is producing the Amuchina® brand products in huge quantities, both in the Casella (GE) and Ancona plants, with the commitment and responsibility that has always distinguished the company.

In Italy, the first country heavily affected by the epidemic, Angelini Pharma donated 10.000 bottles of Amuchina® gel hands a week to the first heavily affected regions and with the evolution of the pandemic it extended the donation to Civil Protection by donating 240.000 bottles of Amuchina® hand gel disinfectant: a total of over 20 tons, in addition to having collaborated with the Institutions and the Ministry of Economic Development to ensure maximum transparency on prices.
