"The system of micro and small businesses is vital for our production fabric, to save it we need to make greater use of the lost fund".
The regional councilor of the PD claims it, Michael Mazzarano, in view of the extraordinary financial maneuver of the Puglia Region to help stem the economic damage caused by the health emergency caused by the coronavirus.
"Micro-enterprises, self-employed, professionals and VAT numbers - adds Mazzarano - risk not reopening at the end of this very serious health, economic and social crisis. For this reason, the economic plan put in place by the Puglia Region sees an important use of resources to provide liquidity to companies through the instrument of loans on favorable terms.
Among the proposals under consideration by the regional government, I also ask to include specific measures to infuse extraordinary liquidity to the most fragile part of our economic system, consisting of micro companies with a turnover of up to 100.000 euros and self-employed, freelancers, VAT holders, with a gross annual income of up to 50.000 euros .
"It's about giving support - Mazzarano continues - to that dynamic part of our production system, with vocations in the most innovative sectors. I ask for immediate aid to be provided, which is combined with the other support measures already foreseen.
“This is a destination of a one-off bonus of 4000 euros (to cover the entire lockdown period) to micro-enterprises with an annual turnover not exceeding 100.000 euros; and a one-off bonus of 2000 euros (to cover the entire lockdown period) for the self-employed, professionals and VAT number holders with an annual turnover not exceeding 50.000 euros.
It is an oxygen injection, through a simple and fast measurement and with clear requirements - Mazzarano concludes - to concretely support the most fragile part of our economic fabric ”.
