Rizzo, Murciano and Cefaliello: “Save all jobs. Excellent result, but complicated negotiation "

The negotiation of the Arcelor Mittal contract concluded positively, which was achieved with the transfer of 23 of 59 employees from Semat Multiservizi to Mad and D'Onghia, again with Multiservice contracts. The remaining 36 are absorbed indefinitely by La Cisa, which applies the metalworking national collective bargaining agreement.

Result: no worker loses his job, on the contrary the permanent contract is guaranteed even to the four workers who until now were hired under fixed-term contracts.

Positive result, but the negotiation turned out to be particularly complicated due to the different CCNLs applied within the Semat contract;

Right here in Semat in 2008, following an agreement made with Cgil, Cisl and Uil, the Multiservice CCNL was applied for the first time.

Given the multitude of contracts in the Arcelor Mittal contract, today it is no longer possible to postpone the comparison on the need to standardize the contractual forms, providing for a single contract of the contract that has the remuneration and protections of the Metalworking National Collective Labor Agreement but also the guarantee of the social clause art.4 provided for by the Multiservices, in order to eliminate the differences on the remuneration plan and guarantee the transit of all workers in contract changes.

Our proposal will be presented in the first official meeting in the ministerial with Acciaierie d'Italia.
