Arrested by the Carabinieri: they were traveling by car with twenty blocks of hashish

Editorial

The territorial control services by the Carabinieri of the Colleferro Company continue to be carried out to prevent and repress crimes in general. Just in the last few hours the Carabinieri have flagrantly arrested two young people, seriously suspected of the crime of possession for the purpose of dealing narcotic substances.

The two, aged 19 and 20, both students from the province of Rome, were stopped during a road traffic check near the Colleferro A1 motorway toll booth, while traveling in a car. The 20-year-old, who was driving the vehicle at the time, upon seeing the military patrol, made a U-turn in a vain attempt to escape control, also hitting the Army gazelle, but without damaging it. In those excited moments, the two students thought about getting out of the cockpit and trying to escape on foot, but they were immediately reached and blocked by the soldiers. Inside the car, following the search, the military found 20 blocks of hashish weighing approximately 2 kilos, hidden under the front passenger seat. Subsequently the military extended the searches to the homes of the two arrested but with negative results. The drugs found were seized and will be analyzed in the laboratory.

After the arrest, the two were taken to the barracks and subsequently taken to the Velletri prison, awaiting validation which will be celebrated in the next few hours.
