A few hours later a girl arrested for aggravated theft and a 42-year-old man for possession and drug dealing
Last afternoon, in two distinct criminal activities, the Carabinieri of the Valmontone station arrested two people in a few hours. It is a young 20-year-old from the province of Rome seriously suspected of the crime of aggravated theft of clothing within 6 commercial activities of theoutlet village, and of a 42-year-old from Frosinone suspected of producing and possessing narcotic substances for the purpose of selling.
Following the timely notification of the shopping center surveillance, the Carabinieri intervened by stopping the 20-year-old and a minor suspected of having removed, after removing the anti-theft plates, some items of clothing in some shops. Several items of clothing were found inside a bag they were carrying and, the search of the car of the 20-year-old made it possible to recover further goods, all taken from the exhibitors and unpaid, worth about 500 euros. For the 20-year-old the handcuffs were triggered for aggravated theft while the position of the minor is being examined by the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Juvenile Court of Rome.
The same Carabinieri of the Valmontone Station, following an observation service of a house, near which a strange comings and goings had been reported, decided to carry out a check by noting inside the garden belonging to the house. , three marijuana plants about two meters high. When the 42-year-old worker residing in Valmontone returned home, the search was triggered with the discovery of 4 other plants in the drying phase and further narcotic substance, already dried and ready for illicit transfer, contained inside glass jars whose total weight is 2,7 kg. All the substance has been seized pending laboratory analyzes that will allow to establish the value of the active ingredient as well as quantify the overall doses.
The arrests were validated and, at the end of the hearing, the Veliterna Judicial Authority sentenced the 20-year-old to one year of imprisonment with suspended sentence and released the 42-year-old pending trial.
