As part of an investigative activity coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Veliterno Court i carabinieri of the Artena station have implemented the order with which the GIP of the Court of Velletri ordered the measure of house arrest with an electronic bracelet against a 53-year-old man resident in Colleferro. 

The man was found to be seriously suspected of a series of harassing and persecutory conduct perpetrated against his ex-partner, a 54-year-old resident of Artena, carried out at the end of their romantic relationship which lasted approximately two years. 

The complaints made by the woman regarding the recent episodes have started the investigative process which have made it possible to collect serious circumstantial elements regarding the fact that the 53-year-old would have first followed her on her movements, then contacted her repeatedly by telephone, sending her numerous messages , deleted after viewing, finally addressing her with abusive words and threatening her that he would discredit her with all her acquaintances.

In support of the circumstantial framework, the analysis of the victim's telephone, the story of the witnesses to whom the victim had confided the profound fear resulting from the behavior of her ex-partner, as well as a medical certificate issued to her by theColleferro Hospital due to the severe and persistent state of anxiety.

The repeated conduct therefore resulted in the issuing of the order which provides for the precautionary measure which provides for the subjection of the fifty-three-year-old to the measure of house arrest to be carried out through the application of the electronic bracelet, which was carried out by the Carabinieri of the Artena station.

The reporting by the victims who suffer such crimes or by the people who are closest to them is of fundamental importance, so as to allow the Judicial Authority to intervene quickly to protect them.
