Attacked in Mali, three French soldiers were injured

Last night, three French soldiers of the Brkhane mission in Mali were wounded following a suicide attack. The soldiers were on board an armored car when a car approached and exploded.

Two of the three soldiers involved were treated on the spot while the third, appeared more serious, was reported in France and admitted to a military hospital in Paris. The news was confirmed by French military sources.

Yesterday morning other Malian soldiers lost their lives in an attack carried out with rudimentary bombs. The incident falls precisely on the day on which the fifth anniversary of the Serval mission begins, another military plan of the Elysée aimed at eradicating the jihadists of Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (Aqmi).

From the 2013 are 18 military the French have lost their lives in Mali, an unstable country still in the grip of armed groups.
