Pilots and specialists of the Air Force, belonging to the 46ª Air Brigade of Pisa, called to judge the contestants of the famous kitchen broadcast in the first outdoor test of the 2019, which will go on air Thursday 31 January on Sky One
It will be a base of the Air Force, the 46ª Air Brigade of Pisa, to host the first outdoor test of the eighth season of MasterChef Italia, the Sky cooking show produced by Endemol Shine Italy, on air Thursday 31 January on Sky One 21: 15. Pilots and specialists this time will not be engaged in flight aboard the transport aircraft but will have a special mission: evaluate the competitors in the race. In fact they will be called to judge the dishes prepared by aspiring chefs, accompanied by the 4 judges of the broadcast, Bruno Barbieri, Joe Bastianich, Antonino Cannavacciuolo and Giorgio Locatelli, in a unique location, within one of the operational Departments of the Italian Air Force.
It will be an opportunity to ideally open the doors of the air base to the general television audience and make known, albeit in an entertainment context, what the Air Force, in this case from Pisa, does at the service of the country every day 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
The 46th Air Brigade is a department specialized in air transport whose crews, with professionalism and generosity, work every day at the service of the country in multiple institute activities, often among the first to intervene in the event of serious calamities, humanitarian crises, environmental disasters , for the urgent repatriation of compatriots in a state of danger or for the emergency medical transport wherever necessary. The flagship of the Brigade is the International Training Center, a center of international excellence in which the crews of the Air Force and of various foreign countries using the same transport aircraft are trained using the latest generation flight simulators.
The Air Force, its men and women, from Pisa as well as from all its bases in Italy and in operations outside national borders, operate daily at the service of the community with the aim of being useful to the country.
