The Minister of Education, Lucia Azzolina, expresses her appreciation for the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on the teaching of Italian in Libyan secondary schools. The agreement, signed today in Tripoli by the Chargé d'affaires of the Embassy of Italy, Walter Di Martino, and by the Minister of Education of the Government of Libyan National Accord, Mohammed Ammari Zayed, aims to promote the teaching of Italian in the Libyan school system thanks to the training of Libyan teachers in Italy starting from the school year 2020-21. This is an important step forward in strengthening bilateral collaboration in the education sector which aims - by promoting the teaching of the Italian language - to develop mutual knowledge and understanding between the two peoples and the two Governments.
