“On the Day for the Victims of Accidents at Work, it must be said strongly: culture and safety training are the priority. Training of workers and training of entrepreneurs, especially in very small and small businesses. The resources are there, they must be invested with the right objectives and with targeted and adequate training strategies. And they must be implemented. We have one of the most advanced legislation in Europe and in the world. But laws, even the best ones, are not enough. Safety is guaranteed with adequate and informed training. It is the side on which to act with determination and speed, on which to focus. We disseminate best practices, projects that have given excellent results, training strategies that have proved to be more appropriate. For this reason the comparison and involvement of the social partners is crucial.
Occupational safety, awareness and training go hand in hand. President Mattarella's invitation must be fully accepted: the safety of workers is a social priority because the quality of our coexistence and of our communities depends on it. You can't close your eyes, you can't minimize it.
A great social pact is necessary to fully guarantee occupational safety ”. Thus the Minister Bellanova on the occasion of the 69 ^ Day for the victims of accidents at work.
