The Minister at Unesco's Transforming Education Pre-Summit. Italy chosen as leader on inclusion issues

"A fairer and more just society is possible only if we manage to extend the right to education, promoting the overcoming of gender, social and economic barriers. Therefore, simple changes are not enough, but a real transformation of the educational systems is necessary, which allows all girls and boys to have access to the right to education.". The Minister of Education said so Patricio Bianchi, speaking at the "Transforming Education Pre-Summit”At the Unesco headquarters in Paris.

"Transformation of education is the fundamental lever of sustainable development and a more open society. In a moment of strong international tension like the one we are experiencing, it is essential to meet again as we have been able to do here at Unesco to strengthen dialogue and cooperation”, Underlined Bianchi.

The summit, which was attended by more than 150 Ministers, associations, female students and students, was organized as part of the process of preparing the appointment convened by the Secretary General of the United Nations, António Guterres, for the opening of the UN Assembly of September, with the aim of mobilizing political and social commitment in favor of a new vision of education and training in the world.
