The Carabinieri of the Carpineto Romano station carried out the notification of an urban Daspo measure against a 50-year-old individual.
The Daspo, issued by the Police Commissioner of Rome, imposes a ban on the subject from accessing urban centers for a period of two years. This restriction includes entry into public places or similar establishments and the prohibition of staying in the immediate vicinity of such places, located in the center of Carpineto.
The prevention measure was adopted to preserve urban decorum and combat annoying behaviour, often linked to alcohol abuse, preventing certain people from accessing and freely using specific public and entertainment places, where food and drink are served. drinks.
The 50-year-old had already been involved in episodes of disturbing the peace, carefully documented by the Carabinieri. In particular, last October 28th, he damaged planters and rubbish bins in the centre, also trying to set fire to a wooden work of great significance for the Carpineta community, which nevertheless suffered damage. Subsequently, on November 6, he published defamatory posts against the mayor and insulting phrases aimed at the police on his social network profiles, accessible to the public.
The 50-year-old was reported to the Public Prosecutor's Office of Velletri for the crimes of damaging public works following a fire and defamation via social media.
The Colleferro Carabinieri Company will continue to carry out targeted prevention activities in the places of greatest attraction for young people, especially during the weekend, in order to avoid any conflicts and physical aggressions favored by alcohol abuse.
