Four reported and five reports for possession of narcotics. The operation by the Carabinieri of Colleferro is part of a wider prevention activity ordered by the Provincial Carabinieri Command of Rome aimed both at combating widespread illegality throughout the province and at showing citizens the visible presence of the State

The action of the Carabinieri of the Colleferro Company continues incessantly, engaged in a widespread activity of control of the territory, aimed at guaranteeing safety and healthy entertainment both in the places of greater aggregation, frequented by young people, and on the streets to also guarantee safe circulation.

The targeted preventive activity was implemented with a massive number of patrols both from the emergency service “112” and from the dependent Stations and allowed a 37-year-old to be reported to the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Velletri who, involved in a road accident with no injuries, was found by the Norm soldiers in possession of a false foreign driving license. The 37-year-old was reported with the seizure of his driving license.

The Carabinieri of the Carpineto Romano Station, engaged in a service aimed at curbing the consumption of narcotic substances, reported to the Prefecture a young man found in possession of 15 grams of hashish.

In the sights of the Carabinieri of the Radiomobile Unit of the Norm, instead, three people ended up, a 37-year-old from Montelanico, a 19-year-old and a 24-year-old from Colleferro, found in possession of a modest quantity of hashish. They too were reported to the Prefecture for the consequent suspension of their driving licenses.

The same military personnel then reported three other people, a 49-year-old woman from Artena who had her license revoked because she was caught driving with a blood alcohol level three times higher than the legal limit, a 36-year-old man from Montelanico found in possession of a switchblade with a 6 cm long sharp blade and finally a 50-year-old man from Milan for having repeatedly driven a vehicle without ever having obtained a license.

The extraordinary control activity resulted in 131 people checked, one public establishment inspected, one vehicle seized for lack of insurance coverage, one license withdrawn and fines issued for violations of the Highway Code for a total amount exceeding 1.500 euros.

In the same context, the Carabinieri carried out several operations near the premises stormed by numerous young people from neighbouring municipalities, with the aim of preventing risky behaviour and preserving a climate of healthy fun within the contexts related to the so-called movida.
