During a targeted territorial control operation aimed at combating drug dealing, the Carabinieri of Carpineto Romano arrested a 29-year-old from Anagni and a 23-year-old local woman, seriously suspected of possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing.

Yesterday evening, the Carabinieri of the local station showed up at the home of the two young people to carry out a search delegated by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Velletri and inside the house they found 52 g of marijuana and 11 g of hashish as well as material for packaging the doses.

Both were arrested in flagrante delicto and this morning the Velletri Court validated the arrests with a summary trial.

It should be noted that the proceedings are in the preliminary investigation phase, so the suspects are to be considered innocent until a final sentence is reached.

The operation conducted by the Carabinieri of the Colleferro Company is part of a broader context of territorial control aimed at combating the consumption and dealing of narcotic substances among the youngest, also in the neighboring municipalities of Carpineto Romano, Segni and Montelanico.
