This morning officially began the run to the polls, with the presentation to the Viminale of the symbols of the parties that will be included in the ballots for the political elections of the next 4 March.
The terms for the presentation of the symbols expire at 16 on Sunday 21 January, together with the statute, the electoral program and any indications of other parties with which it intends to form a coalition. The lists of candidates for the Chamber and Senate should instead be presented between the 28 and the 29 January.
In the morning also the 5 Stars Movement presented its symbol for 2018 policies in the presence of Luigi Di Maio, Bebbe Grillo and Davide Casaleggio together with the Viminale: “We presented the symbol of the country's first political force, we want to go to the government and we will go to the government. I don't know, it will depend on the Italians. I think very tall " said Luigi Di Maio coming out of the Viminale.
After the presentation of the logo valid for the 2018 elections, an apparently insignificant detail has not escaped the most attentive observers: in the new badge deposited this morning by the Movimento 5 Stelle one reads "ilblogdellestelle.it", a web address that will soon take over di Movimento5stelle, the third restyling of the symbol of the political creature by Beppe Grillo and Gianroberto Casaleggio, which in its first version carried the wording beppegrillo.it.
The new symbol is no longer owned by Beppe Grillo but the new association with which the Star Stars 5 Movement will run to the policies and the mark deposited today represents this new set-up of the Movement with Luigi Di Maio political leader in all respects and Beppe Grillo mere guarantor and moral leader, but now more and more external to the operating branch.
A change that makes the now imminent detachment of the 5 Star Movement from Beppe Grillo's blog tangible, which from 2018 would seem to want to vote on topical and innovative topics rather than internal politics.
