Clashes continue in Hong Kong against the Chinese government

For the fifth consecutive day, the main terminal of Hong Kong airport was occupied by demonstrators despite the deployment of greater security measures that unsuccessfully tried to keep out the demonstrators who, shouting "Hong Kong fights for freedom", forced the protection belt.

Even today the airport authorities have specified that the canceled flights concern departures from the airport, while they stressed that there should be no consequences for arrivals, although some dozen flights to Hong Kong had already been canceled.

Meanwhile, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights expressed concern about the situation in Hong Kong and requested an immediate investigation into the behavior of the police towards the demonstrators.

The United Nations Human Rights Office has examined various pieces of evidence believed to be reliable which testify that law enforcement officers have been using weapons that are not lethal but in ways prohibited by international norms and standards.

Second, the reports provided by the police would be at least 700 people arrested during demonstrations accused of resistance to arrest and possession of offensive weapons. Meanwhile, according to Donald Trump with a message posted on Twitter, the Chinese government is moving troops to the border with Hong Kong.
