Co.Ce.R. Navy: "dignified recognition for the personnel of the Navy and Defense"

Thus the Co.Ce.R. Marina, in a note, on the occasion of the anniversary of Santa Barbara, patron saint of the Navy:

"At the end of the meetings held with the personnel of the Taranto and Brindisi offices, the Co.Ce.R. formulates a fervent wish of Good wind to the FA and to all the sailors !!

A wind, which in recent years has turned into storm for the staff, putting a strain on the motivation for the continuous and incautious choice to contract resources despite the multiplication of activities involving our crews at the supreme will of the state.

The imminent opening of the consultation after 7 long years from the expiry of the last contract, must be an opportunity to ensure a decent remuneration for those who sail the seas, giving prestige and security to the nation. We therefore await the meeting with the Government to illustrate our requests.

Strengthened by the pressing needs that the staff report to us on a daily basis, we believe it is right to highlight that the specificity, much heralded, must finally be recognized with an economic intervention by the Government, as well as the current flat-rate payment disrespectful of professionalism, profuse and the sacrifices of families.

Finally, we launch an appeal to the top of our FA and of the Defense to support, during the economic-normative consultation, the requests of the Sailors ".
