The Carabinieri of the Colleferro station, at the end of a broader prevention activity organized throughout the province by the Provincial Command of Rome, aimed at combating the phenomenon of the use and dealing of narcotic substances, arrested a 51-year-old from Segni, seriously suspected of the crime of possession for the purpose of trafficking of narcotic substances.

The man, aboard his car, was stopped by the Carabinieri and subjected to a check. Upon completion of the checks, the 51-year-old was found in possession of a dose of cocaine. The subsequent house search made it possible to find and seize a further 7 grams of the same substance (from whose analysis it emerged that over 100 doses could be obtained), 3 grams of hashish as well as packaging and cutting material as well as a sum of approximately 2000 euros , deemed as proceeds from the drug dealing activity.

At the end of the hearing to validate the arrest, which took place on Friday 51 December, the 15-year-old was sentenced to 9 months in prison with a suspended sentence and a fine of 1.600 euros in addition to the confiscation of the sum of money seized.
