Yesterday, the Carabinieri of the Colleferro Company and the Association for the Treatment of Pathological Addictions ( A.CU.DI.PA) held two conferences, aimed at middle school students (G. Mazzini – Cardinale O. Giorgi) of Colleferro and Valmontone, organized with the collaboration of the school managements to deal with issues of training in the culture of legality.

The meeting was held by Commander of the Colleferro Carabinieri Company and by Dr. Sarah Nocera, Emergency Supporter, representative of the ACuDiPa Association, which deals with pathological addictions.
A total of 300 students from both schools participated in the conferences, with whom the speakers spoke throughout the morning and spoke about the importance of respecting the rules as a foundation for civil coexistence, bullying and cyberbullying, conscious use of social media, youth addictions and gender violence.

The conferences, which began with greetings and thanks from the school directors, attracted great interest from the children who participated actively by asking the speakers numerous questions which gave the opportunity to illustrate practical examples in support of the delicate issues addressed.
In particular, emphasis was placed on the recurrent and intentional manifestations typical of bullying and cyberbullying, which often cause inconvenience to younger people, as well as on the characteristic signs of gender violence and on the risk factors underlying the socio-economic contexts of victims and abusive subjects.

The activity falls within the framework of the initiatives for the training and development of the culture of legality which involves the Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Rome in implementing the memorandum of understanding between the Arma and the Ministry of Education, as well as within the collaboration with the ACuDiPa Association, with which the cooperation continues to promote the prevention and treatment of pathological addictions.
