The action of the Carabinieri of the Command continues unabated Compagnia di Colleferro engaged daily in a systematic and widespread control activity of the territory aimed at guaranteeing greater safety standards to the community.
The targeted preventive activity arranged by the Provincial Carabinieri Command of Rome, implemented with a massive deployment of patrols of the "112" emergency response unit and the Station Commands dependent on the Company, made it possible to arrest a 26-year-old, already burdened by an expulsion order which, moreover, he refused to undergo breathalyzer tests, to report 2 other people on the loose and to report a 19-year-old and a 26-year-old to the Prefecture of Rome for possession of narcotic substances for personal, non-therapeutic use.
The 26-year-old arrested, domiciled in Artena, on Friday afternoon during a normal road traffic check, carried out by the Carabinieri of the Colleferro Radiomobile Unit, was found to be burdened by a recent expulsion order from the Italian State, then he was found in possession of approximately 3g of hashish and finally refused to undergo tests to verify the state of alteration. During the validation hearing, held on Saturday morning in Velletri, the Judge validated the arrest and therefore the 26-year-old was started with new expulsion proceedings.
Yesterday afternoon, the Carabinieri of the Gorga station stopped a 53-year-old from Colleferro found in possession of a 62 cm long baseball bat hidden under the seat of his car. The stick was confiscated and the 53-year-old was reported for possession of objects capable of offending. The same fate befell a 38-year-old from Valmontone found by the soldiers of the Aliquota Radiomobile of Colleferro in possession of an iPhone 14 Pro stolen inside the Valmontone Outlet Shopping Center from a 41-year-old from the province of Cosenza. The phone was returned to the woman and the 38-year-old was charged with receiving stolen goods.
A few hours later, in Artena, Macere, the same soldiers checked a 19-year-old on board his car who was found in possession of a small quantity of hashish, for this reason his driving license was withdrawn and the 19-year-old was reported to the Prefecture of Rome for the issuance of the suspension period.
On Saturday evening the checks by the soldiers of the Artena and Valmontone station, in collaboration with the specialized personnel of the NAS Carabinieri of Rome, first concerned two Artena activities. In the first, food products frozen in an unsuitable manner were found and it was failure to implement the "HACCP" self-control procedures was found with a consequent fine of 2.000 euros, while in the second activity slight hygienic-structural inconveniences were found for which a prescriptive deadline for adaptation was provided.
Also on Saturday, late in the evening, the same soldiers accompanied by those of the NAS Carabinieri of Rome, in Colleferro entered a place with musical entertainment, frequented by very young people, for which checks are underway regarding authorizations and the position of some employees.
The extraordinary control activity of the territory allowed the identification of 117 people, the control of 79 vehicles and 15 subjects under house arrest, the carrying out of 2 personal searches as well as 7 interventions for reports of suspicious people and/or vehicles received at the number emergency "112" and raise 9 fines against undisciplined motorists for a total amount of approximately 1.000 euros, with the deduction of 15 points from the driving license.
The operation conducted by the Carabinieri of the Colleferro Company is part of a broader prevention activity, organized throughout the province by the Provincial Carabinieri Command of Rome, with particular attention to the places of greatest aggregation frequented by families, and especially by the youngest, to ensure greater safety and combat the phenomenon of drug use and dealing.
