Reports and sanctions for violation of health and hygiene regulations and failure to comply with the production of plant-based foods, fines of 10.000 euros. This is the result of the extraordinary operation, carried out in the last 24 hours, by the Carabinieri of the Colleferro Company, with the qualified collaboration of the Carabinieri of the Anti-adulteration and Health Unit of Rome, who deployed 31 patrols and over 60 men and women as part of an extraordinary control plan of the territory, including in nightlife areas, in line with the action strongly desired by the Prefect of Rome Lamberto Giannini within the Provincial Committee for Public Order and Security, aimed at combating situations of illegality.
On Saturday morning, the Carabinieri inspected two businesses, in one of which the owner, a 31-year-old Egyptian, was fined 3.000 euros for the lack of hygiene and health in the premises and for having produced food of plant origin without a health permit. The other catering business, managed by a 34-year-old Chinese man, was fined 3.500 euros for failing to implement HACCP company self-control procedures and for having a quantity of food lacking the required mandatory indications relating to traceability.
On Saturday evening, the Carabinieri of the Colleferro Operational and Radiomobile Unit and the Carpineto Romano Station reported three people for driving under the influence of alcohol and repeated driving without a license, reporting two young people, one from Carpineto Romano and the other from Segni, to the Prefecture of Rome for possession of a small quantity of hashish.
During the road traffic checks carried out by the Carabinieri of the Colleferro Company, 7 undisciplined motorists were fined for a total amount of approximately 3.000 euros.
