The Carabinieri of the Colleferro station have implemented an order which provides for the precautionary measure of removal from the family home and a ban on approaching the offended persons, issued by the Court of Velletri at the request of the local Public Prosecutor's Office, against a man , accused of the crime of domestic abuse.

The first incident dates back to mid-October following the intervention carried out by the Carabinieri of the Colleferro Company following a report from a neighbor of the victim who had reported to the emergency number 112 a violent attack suffered by a woman by her live-in partner, both domiciled in Colleferro. The investigations carried out by the Carabinieri made it possible to activate the "Code Red” and to allow the woman to find the courage to report the attacks she has suffered at home for about 5 years. The woman reported mistreatment and humiliation on the part of her partner who often physically attacked her, causing injuries for which she, however, never requested the intervention of the police without even going to medical facilities.

Given the seriousness and consistency of the evidence collected by the Carabinieri during the investigation, the man was expelled from the family home and prohibited from approaching the offended person, respecting the distance of 300 metres, in addition to the ban communication through any means with the victim.

Also in this case there was confirmation of the timely response of the Carabinieri, the result of specific professional preparation in dealing with cases of gender violence, for which the attention and sensitivity of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Velletri is very high. In this context, reporting by the victims who suffer such crimes or by the people who are closest to them remains of fundamental importance, so as to allow the Judicial Authority to intervene quickly to protect them.
