The story of the BMW that was stolen and then went off the road on Via Casilina which caused the death of two occupants while a third is hospitalized in serious conditions in Tor Vergata hospital, draws the attention of today's news because a body was found lying on the ground in the countryside adjacent to the accident site.
The car, which was found to be stolen, perhaps due to high speed, had gone off the road last night, catching fire at Km 52,200 of Casilina. The emergency services, which intervened promptly, noted the death of two of its occupants while the third had been transported under code red to the nearest hospital. Tools potentially usable for burglary work were found in the trunk of the car.
Today, following the report of the disappearance of a man, the Colleferro carabinieri returned to the site of the accident, widening the perimeter of the searches: in fact, a body was found lying on the ground, also probably of Albanian origin. He could be the wanted man probably connected to the story of the BMW stolen and set on fire due to the unfortunate accident.
The investigations are still ongoing.
