Conte: "The Dpcm is that"

The battle continues to the sound of communications between Conte and exponents of Italia Viva, the Dpcm does not really go down to Matteo Renzi who proposes to review him in the points concerning closing times to the detriment of restaurants, bars and pubs. Conte is lapidary: “The Dpcm is that”.

(by Francesco Matera) A Giuseppe Conte the initiative of the leader of Italia dei Valori did not go down, Matteo Renzi who publicly proved contrary to some measures of the last Dpcm (closing time for shops). How, in this regard, he specified that the measure was decided in the night between Saturday and Sunday by all the majority forces: "There have been no alternative proposals to those contained in the Dpcm. We started meeting in delegation leaders format and there was also Italia viva, from six thirty in the morning until one in the morning ”.

On the sidelines of the press conference on the "refreshment decree" Conte wanted to clarify his position on the latest Dpcm: "The differences of the day after frankly surprise me. The Dpcm is that. In perspective, if different strategies are elaborated very well, we will talk about it, but it is easy to counterpoint. It is more difficult to offer alternative measures that bring the curve back under control ”.

However, in the evening Conte had a summit with the majority group leaders because apparently it is not only Renzi who shows opposition to some measures of the Dpcm.

Italia Viva is more “Viva” than ever and in the words of Ettore Rosato he replies to Conte: "Conte would not be surprised by the differences of the day after if he only learned to listen to the suggestions of the day before. Too easy to ignore our ideas and then complain because we disagree. The premier is wrong about culture and catering ”.

Davide Pharaoh offers live streaming: "We will stream the meetings next time. We have always proposed alternative measures to those which we consider wrong and which we have contested in every way ".

The deputy secretary of the Democratic Party intervenes in support of Prime Minister Conte, Andrea Orlando"Once decisions have been made, they must be defended, even if there is no agreement on commas ”.

Matteo Renzi he replies to Conte directly on his Fb profile: "Asking to organize better is not treason but common sense. We are in the majority but we have never been and we will be yes man. I read controversy about our simple request to the premier to review the Dpcm. Closing restaurants at 18pm and closing places of culture does not decrease the number of infected people: only the unemployed increase ".

What is certain is that the climate is increasingly tense in the majority and many think that Renzi's troops can move their pawns, if anything not indulged in their requests, to favor the most improvised scenario in this emergency moment, a government crisis. From Italia Viva, however, they make it known that it is not their intention to lead to a government crisis, for now, given the situation in which the country finds itself.

In the meantime, the opposition is waiting at the window and asking for an urgent parliamentary discussion and a point-by-point vote on the measures envisaged in the Dpcm.

Conte will be in Parliament today for the question time and tomorrow he will return to illustrate the measures of the Dpcm and the refreshment decree.

The squares are also pressing the Conte government: the other day in Turin and yesterday in Rome there were real scenes of urban warfare.
