Trump video - Korea ready to detonate H bomb in the Pacific

US President Donald Trump's speech at the United Nations General Assembly referring to Kim Jong-un: "is the sound of a dog barking". There was no lack of first-person reaction from the Korean leader.

Pyongyang could detonate a hydrogen bomb in the Pacific in response to President Donald Trump, who has threatened to "completely destroy" North Korea if it does not give up its nuclear program. North Korean Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho told reporters in New York on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly where Trump issued his warning. Ri Yong Ho's incredible provocation came a few hours after the declaration of the North Korean dictator, Kim Jong-un, who is responsible for the final decision, his foreign minister said. Speaking personally, Kim called Trump "insane", "not fit to rule", "who likes to play with fire". "It will pay dearly," Kim warned. Since he took office in the White House "with his threats he has made the world more restless", remarked the dictator. Trump's was "a ferocious declaration of war" and "I will tame him with fire," Kim thundered, promising a "top-notch" response against the United States.

According to Vipin Narang, a political science professor at MIT and a nuclear expert, it is the first time that Kim has made a statement in the first person. "As far as I know there is no precedent," Narang told CNN. Kim "was clearly offended by (Trump's) speech and what worries the most is the kind of response he is considering." Pyongyang's foreign minister was supposed to speak at the UN General Assembly today but after Trump's intervention he decided to give up. If he wanted to, he would still have time to book a slot. Just yesterday, the US administration launched a new round of sanctions against foreign companies that do business with North Korea. US Treasury Minister Steve Mnuchin specified that this is not a measure against China, even though it is Pyongyang's main trading partner.
