Even the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella he had to intervene by calling the opposition leaders to urge them to unity and collaborate with the government. A veiled warning from Mattarella was also given to the Prime Minister: "less social and more concrete".

Then the dramatic appeal to stay at the home of the governor of Lombardy Fontana who from the most tormented region of Italy, alongside the doctors who came from China, begged his fellow citizens to make an extra effort. Chinese experts have pointed out to everyone that the restrictive measures imposed are still not enough. Schools and universities

There are two options for schools and universities: short postponement until April 19 or, the most feasible, reopening on May 3. The relevant ministry is also thinking about the worst-case scenario, which is that the school year should end without students returning to class. For this reason, the digital teaching of these days is as valid as traditional lessons. Teachers, therefore, need to move forward with the program and evaluate students for what they are doing during this time. Minister Azzolina for now excludes the extension of lessons to June. For the Maturity he reiterates that the exam will adapt and that he is developing a lighter version.
