Coronavirus, Super Commissioner desperately looking for: "The name of who really made war"

"When the going gets tough, the tough get going."

(by Andrea Pinto) The serious emergency situation in Italy has been managed so far by the Government which is trying to do its best but which relies exclusively on the Department of Civil Protection which is the institutional body of the Presidency of the Council but which has been sized and designed, probably to manage minor emergencies.

Here we are faced with a national emergency that is embedded in a greater planetary emergency. We can't waste time.

Maybe the time has come to turn the page. The fight gets tough and trying to fight it with the same tools that are insufficient so far is equivalent to raising the white flag ahead of schedule.

In this state of emergency, however, we cannot afford the luxury of raising the white flag, indeed, in the face of the escalation of the clash between society and contagion, perhaps it is necessary that the idea of the Super Commissioner supported both by representatives of the oppositions and by those of the Government, be seriously considered. And here public health is affected, therefore, the opposition to the idea expressed by the representatives of the 5 Star Movement, should be trashed like everything else that opposes the achievement of the final goal: eradicate the coronavirus in the shortest possible time.

The hope is that the top management can immediately understand that to face situations of "health, media and social war, it is not enough to report to the Civil Protection. This structure, however deserving of any praise, can only count the dead and injured, instilling confidence and trying to coordinate those activities that are fundamental in crisis management.

Maybe that American movie wasn't entirely wrong and really the moment it was the struggle gets tough, it must be the tough ones who start fighting. The premier Tale he should perhaps realize, and he should do it in the shortest possible time, that the situation requires entry of some ninety caliber. Someone who has crisis management experience, someone who has managed organizations of tens of thousands of experts, someone who has the strength and determination to better coordinate and manage the country's resources to finalize a univocal effort in the direction of victory. The look can only turn to Armed forces. It is clear that in these situations the structures of defense of the state and of public order must not be diverted from their role as guarantor of the nation. But it is possible instead recalling someone who is no longer in active service but who has the ability to make a national synergy system more effective which, under the current coordination, is about to reach structural collapse.

The are not few Generali, Admirals who are watching the evolution of the phenomenon on TV and which, on the other hand, could represent a true and sure point of reference in the management of the emergency. Sometimes it is committed to looking for experts among the political groups or among the friends of the Government or among the friends of friends. Gross error.

In these cases it is more sensible and profitable to call back to service those who have already proven their ability to manage war emergencies, because the war was serious, for example in the skies of Bosnia, in Iraq in the seas of the Persian Gulf, on who knows what to do, how to do it and when to do it.

For example recently theEurispes, Institute of Political, Economic and Social Studies which works closely with the national anti-mafia and terrorism prosecutor's office has given way to a Permanent Security Observatory, entrusting the presidency to the general Pasquale Preziosa, former Chief of Staff of theAir Force. General Preziosa, a university professor of security geopolitics, is one of the leading experts in Italy in the sector who, during his military career, has led important strategic missions in various war theaters.

So many options among the former top management. The solution and choice is in the hands of the government. The strong hope is that we will soon see a new and competent face on the field. Perhaps it will be the beginning of the turning point for our country.
