Coronavirus, Zonetti, Pavoncello, Marrigo (ANA): "We are not satisfied with government decisions"

"Street vendors must be adequately protected“, Declare it in a joint note on National President, the National Vice-President vicar and the National Secretary of ANA (National Association of Street Vendors) Ivano Zonetti, Angelo Pavoncello and Marrigo Rosato.
"Although we understand the great effort made with the #curaitalia decree, and we appreciate some measures including the provision of small LOANS UP TO € 3.000,00 repayable in 18 installments, the possibility of accessing further FINANCING of a minimum amount of € 40.000,00 with the CENTRAL FUND PMI., the ability to access the LAST INSTANCE INCOME to get one ALLOWANCE, the possibility of using the ALLOWANCE € 600,00 for the month of March, "we are not satisfied at all and we judge the dl negatively since it does not considers, in a truly complete way, the serious crisis facing the 186.000 small itinerant businesses ".

There are many reasons for the discontent of the category that are appropriately discussed in the ANA note. So, the ANA executives complain verbatim: COSAP, TOSAP and TARI TAXES HAVE NOT BEEN CANCELED, despite the closures of the Markets and Fairs ordered by the Mayors; INPS, IRPEF and VAT payments have not been completely abolished for 2020 but only SUSPENDED on 30 May; THE INDEMNITY of € 600,00 for self-employed workers it is the same as that for Baby Sitters (which is aimed at families already in possession of income) and is lower than the wage supplement of a worker; IT IS NOT RETURNED the introduction of the TELEMATIC RECORDER and LOTTERY OF RECEIPTS; THE EXTENSION OF THE CONCESSIONS OF THE AMBULANTS TO 2022 IS NOT EXPECTED.

In light of the above, the ANA, through its national summits, in protesting the non-acceptance of the proposals, reads the press release, invites the National Government to reconsider the decisions in order to safeguard a sector already in crisis which, however, offered job opportunities to approximately 500.000 employees and approximately 1 MILLION direct and indirect industries.

ANA, grasps the occasion to launch a heartfelt appeal  to all the Political Forces in order to support a category that contributed to 2% of the national GDP and that, in markets and fairs, made the streets and squares of the cities and towns of Italy come alive.

The ANA, concludes the note, reserves the right to support any trade union initiative in order to concretely meet its requests. In this regard, the managers specify, Zonetti, Pavoncello and Rosato, we do not exclude the convening of a national demonstration of street vendors as soon as public health conditions permit.
