Conte: "I know I and ... ..."

(by Francesco Matera) They start to get on the nerves of those of the Democratic Party after the repeated behavior of Prime Minister Conte that leads him to always decide in a "solitary" version, especially on the hottest dossiers. Not least the extension of the mandate at the head of Dis to the prefect Gennaro Vecchione. A confirmation that did not go down to the Minister of Defense, Lorenzo Guerini who, according to the lines of Corsera, objected not to the name but to the "method".

"An obvious stretch", commented the leaders of the Democratic Party al Nazareno. Nicola Zingaretti also came out into the open about the method, stressing the fact that Conte centralizes all the important dossiers, nullifying the collegial decision and above all sterilizing the decision-making capacity without comparison. Now Zingaretti said it's time to get out of the swamp.

The Democratic Party is not in line with the Prime Minister on several fronts, from the Mes to the formation of the control room to manage the rain of billions of the Recovery Fund. Minister Paola De Micheli appears to be the fiercest, and in September she sent Conte a list of 43 works to be released. To do this, it was necessary to appoint 43 commissioners, Conte's silence is evident: the commissioner in Calabria has not yet been appointed, let alone appoint another 43.

De Micheli undeterred sent the list to the Mef, a pity that this time the State Accounting Office deemed it appropriate to “totally reject” the request of the Minister of Transport.

Discontent is also recorded in the ranks of Italia Viva: "After the budget law the problem of the structure of this government will arise, because in this way it is really difficult to go forward“, Commented the leader Matteo Renzi.

Conte for his part goes on like a train now launched in the run by the Quirinale until the end of the term: "We are working to face the pandemic ". On the rumors of an upcoming government reshuffle Conte has said several times that it is not an imminent priority for the country.

Conte is also besieged by the majority, to worry him and not a little, the flirtation of the Democratic Party with Forza Italia, an approach that could bring the proposal to access funds from the Mes (Economic Stability Mechanism) back on the agenda. An irremediable short circuit that would greatly irritate the 5 Stars making the house of cards of a very fragile government shake dangerously considering the “dancing” numbers that it can count in the Senate.

In this "impasse" Salvini's League could benefit, which together with the 5 Stars (at least some of them) could bring Conte back to the glories of Conte 1, with an all in a government of the President, thus avoiding the continuous dangers of the sharks of politics, Pd and Iv.
