The State Police, as part of the services in the Milanese province aimed at combating drug dealing, arrested a couple of Italian citizens (a 36-year-old man with a history of drug crimes and a 34-year-old woman with precedents for crimes against property) and a 32-year-old Moroccan citizen, with multiple criminal convictions for weapons, narcotics, crimes against persons and property, and seized a large quantity of narcotics, firearms and related ammunition and money cash.
The agents of the 6th Section "Fighting Widespread Crime" of the Flying Squad, as a result of the constant activity of ascertainment and acquisition of useful information for the identification of people involved in drug trafficking, focused their attention on a Moroccan citizen who would have detained a large quantity of narcotic substances and weapons in an apartment in Cuggiono (MI). On Wednesday morning the police carried out a search of his apartment and found and seized 36 thousand euros.
The subsequent investigations carried out by the investigators made it possible to trace an apartment/warehouse of the Moroccan citizen, located in the same condominium courtyard, and inhabited by a couple of Italian citizens. The house search carried out made it possible to find and seize an AKM47 assault rifle with magazine and approximately 100 cartridges, a semi-automatic pistol with abraded serial number, a dog-repellent pistol modified to shoot, a pump-action rifle and a night vision goggle. In addition to the weapons, 138 kg of hashish, 1,4 kg of heroin, 700 g of marijuana, 50 g of cocaine and 700 g of cutting substance, a vacuum packing machine, 4 precision scales, material for packaging the narcotic substance and 2.200 euros.
The three people were arrested for the crimes of possession for the purpose of dealing narcotic substances, illegal possession of weapons of war and clandestine weapons, and associated at the “Francesco Di Cataldo” prison in Milan San Vittore at the disposal of the authority judicial.
