Hydrogen bomb, it works like the sun

The hydrogen bomb or bomb H, tested by North Korea, is "a powerful weapon that works like the sun, ie based on the same process that occurs for the release of solar energy, and is much more powerful than the bomb atomic dropped on Hiroshima as the energy released is greater ". To clarify the magnitude of the nuclear device used by Pyongyang is the physicist of Cnr Valerio Rossi Albertini, according to which, however, there is also "the risk that it is only propaganda and that North Korea has not actually tested the bomb H but used a conventional bomb, albeit much more powerful. The H bomb, explains the physicist, "uses a different technology than the atomic bomb of Hiroshima, which is based on the same technology of nuclear power stations in operation today: for the bomb that destroyed Hiroshima two heavy metals are used, uranium and plutonium, and the energy released in the explosion is determined by the fragmentation, or fission, of the nuclei of the atoms, hence the name of nuclear fission bomb. On the contrary, the H bomb works with an opposite mechanism: it does not fragment the nuclei of heavy metals, but aggregates the nuclei of light elements as hydrogen is emitting energy, hence the name of nuclear fusion bomb. The H bomb, he points out, "is much more powerful than the" conventional "nuclear Hiroshima and uses the same process of nuclear fusion that occurs in the Sun, where the nuclei of the atoms melt and release solar energy. If such a "conventional-sized" bomb was dropped by hypothesis about a city, it would destroy several neighborhoods, with devastating effects on the neighborhood ". In fact, the H bomb has already been tested by various nuclear powers: the first largest, known as the 'Zar' bomb, was detonated in Russia in the 1961, and the US tests on the island of Bikini in the 1958 are known, and those of Mururoa in the 80 years. However, says Albertini, "if the explosions detected show that North Korea possesses nuclear technology, I think it is not certain that the last warhead is actually a hydrogen bomb, and it could also be just propaganda" . In fact, he points out, "the magnitude of the explosion and subsequent earthquakes recorded is also compatible with the use of a conventional fission bomb but of greater power than that of Hiroshima, always assuming that Korea is in possession of nuclear material like plutonium and uranium.
