Is the title of the event organized by the School of Medicine and Surgery and the Federico II Hospital Hospice Company, scheduled for Friday 22 September, from 11.00 to 18.30 Saturday 23, from 9.00 to 17.00, in the heart of the Federal Hospital.

School and Company will open the doors of the university citadel and come to the field with useful and reproducible proposals aimed at encouraging the adoption of healthy and sustainable lifestyles. A full-featured health event in its many declinations. Through the experiences and the design that the School and the Company have developed in the field of health and well-being, the reflectors on power, physical activity, movement, psychological aspects and prevention practices will be lit. The objective is to help reduce the obstacles to the adoption of healthy lifestyles through a cooperative approach. "There are not enough rules and prohibitions, it is necessary to find new solutions together!" This is the motto of the project that saw a busy scientific committee engaged in the creation of a rich program of proposals and represents an absolute novelty in the Campania landscape.

"Professors at the Federico II School of Medicine and Surgery, in synergy with the University Hospital, also involved doctors in training and students, have built a wide and extremely interesting range of products for the Health Atelier. All activities are linked by a common goal: counteract false myths. From the Mediterranean diet to nutraceuticals, sports in adults and children to the awareness of their emotions, all aspects of health will be tackled with an innovative key, which can be summed up in the balance between respect for science and medicine and the will to divulge . Collaboration and multidisciplinary integration work has been done that will allow you to combine teaching and research excellence with state-of-the-art care. Interactive workshops are planned, aimed at counteracting false myths about nutrition, physical activity and psychological well-being, and will be held at the "Gaetano Salvatore" Aula Magna, recently restored; Experimental paths, articulated in about thirty stands, located in the square opposite the Aula Magna, where participants can meet with multidisciplinary School and Company scientific groups, experimenting with healthy proposals that can be replicated in everyday life; show cooking, set up on the premises of the company's canteen and the result of collaboration between nutrition experts of Federico II, chef of the Campania region and international chefs to encourage greater awareness in the choice of foods and cooking methods; wellness area, located in the central lawn area, dedicated to sporting activities, relaxation sessions, focus on athletic preparation and walks in the green areas of the hospital complex, accompanied by sports medicine experts, and agronomists and botanists who will unveil secrets and curiosity of the vegetation; high-tech area, in the atrium of the Biological Tower, where will be placed about ten stands that will show the latest technologies already available at the Company or in the near future, which represent excellence in terms of innovation and safety for patients; free specialist medical examinations that will be made available thanks to the professionals of the company, in collaboration with Campus Salute Onlus and Fondazione PRO Onlus. In the Great Hall of the North, there will also be sessions dedicated to the good practices of the Campania Region in Europe, in the field of health-innovation and healthy and active aging.
