Success of Caffe 'Guglielmo, lands in Vietnam

Caffè Guglielmo's expansion plan continues on the route to the East. After entering the markets of China and South Korea and the opening of the first Guglielmo brand coffee shops, the Calabrian company has signed an exclusive distribution agreement for its products in Vietnam with Cheung YongMa, a company based in Hong Kong and operating on the entire eastern market. The agreement was signed in Ho Chi Minh by Daniele Rossi, managing director of the family business that leads together with his uncle Roberto Volpi and his cousins Matteo Tubertini and Beatrice Volpi, and by Won Suk Kim, managing director of the Hong Kong group which, as early as August, had stopped in Italy to visit the Copanello roasting plant in Stalettì (in the province of Catanzaro) and the offices of the Guglielmo group. The new contract for the distribution of Caffè Guglielmo in Vietnam marks an important step for the future of the Calabrian company that in recent years has dedicated many resources to a precise export plan that is progressing in parallel both in Europe and non-EU markets. Created in 1943 by the entrepreneur and Cavaliere del Lavoro Guglielmo Papaleo, Caffè Guglielmo is today one of the biggest entrepreneurial realities in the South of Italy. The roasting, which overlooks the beautiful Ionian coast of Copanello, a few kilometers from Catanzaro, offers an image halfway between avant-garde and tradition. It is not a common company but a large family, which represents an extraordinary example of efficiency and production capacity. Guglielmo produces and markets its products in the domestic sector and in the Horeca sector.
