Afghan refugee of 106 years will be driven out of Sweden

A 106-year-old refugee from Afghanistan, after having made a dangerous journey to Europe two years ago through deserts, mountains and forests, helped by her son and grandson, will be deported from Sweden because her asylum application was rejected. The woman, Bibihal Uzbeki, disabled and with speech problems, has decided to appeal the decision of Stockholm. The procedure foresees three degrees of judgment and therefore several years before it is concluded. The over 2015 year old arrived in Europe in XNUMX, together with her family and other asylum seekers, mostly from Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq and other countries. They crossed the Balkans, by train or on foot, before reaching the Scandinavian country. The Swedish migration agency confirmed that it had taken the decision to deny her asylum, arguing that age is a prerequisite for not granting it.
