The great wine festival returns to Eataly and becomes Vino Days

No longer one but two days of special discounts in all Eataly wine shops and online

Wine Day returns and doubles becoming a two-day opportunity, Friday 22 and Saturday 23 October, included in the programming of the wine month that Eataly this year dedicates to the story of the Italian wine territories.

During Vino Days it will be possible to stock up on quality bottles with a special discount of 20% on a minimum purchase of 6 bottles in Eataly's wine shops, honored by the recognition of the Three Corkscrews in the Gambero Rosso Italian Wine Guide, or by purchasing online on www.eataly.it/vinoday with delivery throughout Italy. You can choose from everyday wines to those for special occasions up to the bottles of the Eataly nursery project that gives space to the story and sale of small and young winemakers in the area.

The initiative is included during the wine month which, until November 14, will tell about some of the most renowned Italian wine territories through the exploration of 9 areas with a high enological vocation and a basket of 60 wines selected for the Eataly in Turin, Milan and Rome and 20 - 30 wines for smaller outlets. The territories described are: Langhe, Roero and Monferrato; Franciacorta, Conegliano and Valdobbiadene; Carso, Collio and Brda; Alto Adige, Chianti Classico and Montalcino, Irpinia and the province of Avellino, Etna and Sicily and the Tyrrhenian coasts of Vermentino.

Furthermore, a special signage on the shelf will help the curious to orient themselves among particular categories such as Biodynamic wines, produced with agricultural practices that put the balance of the terrestrial ecosystem at the center; PIWI, translated from German, means resistant to fungal diseases and indicates hybrid vines capable of spontaneously opposing without requiring treatments; the Chiocciolati Slow Wine, good clean and fair selected by Slow Food, the We have it only us, small productions selected exclusively for Eataly, and the Favorite Wines, recommended directly by the expert cellarmen of Eataly.

And, in order not to lose the pleasure of good wine even at the table, until November 14 in all Eataly restaurants you can taste special combinations of typical autumn dishes and the wines of the Italian wine territories to which the month of wine is inspired. Some examples are the typical Spatzle paired with a fragrant glass of Gewurztraminer during the two weeks dedicated to Alto Adige, or the signature pizzas of the Pizza Week (from 18 to 24 October) paired with bubbles from the most suitable Italian sparkling wine districts.

During Vino Days it will also be possible to personally meet the local producers present in the main wine shops with their tasting counters and be told about the wines directly by those who produce them: Fontanafredda, Borgogno, Ressia and Mossio will be present at Eataly Milano Smeraldo and Eataly Torino Lingotto , while Marco Antonelli at Eataly Rome and Blazic at Eataly Trieste.
