From the "33rd Italy 2021 Report" of Eurispes, presented in Rome, in the part relating to the level of trust of citizens in the institutions, it emerges that even in 2021 Italians expressed high percentages of consent towards the work of men and women of the Armed Forces.
According to the data of the survey conducted by the Institute of Political, Economic and Social Studies: "The work of the Armed Forces continues to be appreciated, registering high levels of consensus". The approval for the Army, Navy, Air Force and Carabinieri remains on average over 70%.
The Chief of Defense Staff, General Enzo Vecciarelli, recalled how: "This high confidence of Italians in the military is due to the commitment made in support of the protection of the territory and of the national and international community and the support provided during the health emergency linked to Covid 19 ", adding" The Armed Forces represent a resource for the country, a concrete example of organization and efficiency, to which citizens can look with confidence, finding certainties and references.
