Defense, Ermine (M5S): ”Guarantee impartiality. Reviewing cases excluding competences for military characteristic documents "

"Would you ever like to be evaluated professionally by a person with whom you have a personal suspension, and maybe even a judicial dispute? I guess not". So in a note the deputy Alessandra Ermine, as Defense Commissioner of the M5S, who recently presented a parliamentary question, analyzing the case of the Carabinieri Major Marshal, Arnaldi, who at the time of the facts was in charge of the police station Rimini Port. The deputy believes that, having analyzed the story, "is the case of reviewing the relevant legislation contained in the Military Code of Order ".

I asked, explains the exponent of the Movement, to Ministry of Defenceif it does not deem it necessary to adopt initiatives to modify it in order to ensure that they are both correctness and impartiality in military characteristic assessments are guaranteed, which are not insignificant tools for career advancement.

The case that prompted Mr Ermellino to present a parliamentary question refers to the marshal  Arnaldi, who was judged with the qualification of  'below average' from his direct superior with whom he had previously had some serious problems. The case in question is perhaps one of the dozens of circumstances that occur daily in military circles and that denounce the trade unions themselves. The parliamentary question is only a "leitmotiv" for subsequent legislative initiatives, "the case of Arnaldi, adds the pentastellata deputy, it will be useful for me to review cases of exclusion of competences to compile or revise characteristic documents".
