Piaggio Aerospace at Farnborough 2018

Piaggio Aerospace will participate in the 2018 edition of the Farnborough International Airshow (FIA2018) in Hampshire, UK. The event will take place at the airport of the same name from 16 to 22 July 2018.

The company will be present with a stand (HALL 1 1190) and will expose the 1 scale mockup: 1 of P.1HH HammerHead and a P.180 Avanti EVO.

P.1HH is a unmanned aerial system, the only one in the MALE class (Medium Altitude Long Endurance) in Europe. Designed for aerial, naval and land surveying and surveillance, it guarantees maximum autonomy and speed. The first deliveries are scheduled for this year. The Avanti EVO turboprop is the latest generation of the legendary P.180 Avanti. The configuration with five pushing propellers and three bearing surfaces makes its aerodynamics unique. Fusing style, attention to detail and high technological content, it offers better climbing performance and reduced emissions. The two aircraft are entirely designed, developed and produced in Italy, at the center of aerospace excellence of Villanova D'Albenga.

FIA is the biennial event of aerospace and defense that combines an exhibition for professionals with an airshow open to the public. With about 1.500 exhibitors from more than fifty countries, the event draws 100 thousand institutional representatives and professionals in the sector and as many visitors from around the world.

"Farnborough International Airshow represents the best opportunity to promote our excellence in defense and civil aviation. We have started a process of transformation that is already pushing production and orders ", says Renato Vaghi, CEO of Piaggio Aerospace.
