FCA: comment on the Group's sales results in the Italian car market

New car registrations in Italy amount to about 147 thousand units in November. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles registers in November over 35 thousand cars for a share of 24,1 percent, higher than 0,7 percentage points compared to last month. In the eleven months of the year, the Group's registrations were around 468 thousand, obtaining a share equal to 26,2 per cent.

Jeep in November continues to be on the rise, with a result characterized by the positive signals of the entire range. In fact, with over 7 thousand registrations (plus 34,3% compared to the same month last year) obtains a share of 4,8 percent. Equally supported the progressive annual with almost 78 thousand registrations (plus 71,7% compared to the eleven months of 2017) and a share of 4,4 percent.

Leading the results of the brand are especially above all Compass, in November sales amounted to over 3 thousand units, ahead of its segment, and Renegade, also the first in its segment, with over 3.600 units.

Lancia records more than 4.400 cars in November, with a share that exceeds 3 per cent.

In the eleven months, the brand records over 44 thousand cars for a share of 2,5 percent. Lancia Ypsilon continues to provide positive results, confirming the best-selling segment B with a share of 13,6 percent.

In the eleven months of the year, Alfa Romeo registered over 41.100 units, for a market share of 2,3 per cent, in line with the same period last year.

The Stelvio registrations in the annual progression have increased compared to the same period of 2017 71,5 per cent, and is the most sold in its segment. Even Giulia in its segment of sedans is the best selling in the eleven months with almost 9 thousand units.

The Fiat brand registered more than 22 thousand cars in November, for a share of 15 per cent.

In the eleven months of the 2018 the Brand registers over 304 thousand cars and the share is 17,1 percent.

Fiat strongly supports the sales of the A segment, with Panda and 500 at the first and second place in the ranking of the best-selling cars both in November and in the progressive year. In November, Panda reached a record share of 43,1%.

Altogether they get together a share of 53,5 percent in the month and 52 percent in the eleven months. The 500X, leader of the segment in the progressive annual, records in the same period a growth of the 10,5 percent sales.
