Eni gas and light meets the Consumer Associations

Eni gas and light SpA, represented by CEO Alberto Chiarini, met today in Rome with the Presidents, National Secretaries and National Energy Managers of Consumer Associations recognized by the National Council of Consumers and Users (CNCU), representative body of the associations of consumers and users at national level and chaired by the Minister of Economic Development.

The meeting represented for the Company, the 1 July 2017 was born and in which all Eni's retail activities were merged into the gas and electricity market, an opportunity to illustrate to the stakeholders of the consumer world how the company is facing, in respect of the centrality of the customer and the consumer, a rapidly evolving context that goes towards the end of the protected market. Eni gas and light is present in 4 European countries (Italy, France, Slovenia and Greece) with over 9 million customers, of which about 8 millions only in Italy.

Particular attention was paid to the activities carried out in the 2017 and the challenges to be faced in the coming years, also with reference to the now near complete liberalization of the energy market with respect to which the definitive overcoming of electricity protection tariffs, foreseen for the 1 ° July 2019, is still little perceived by more than 20 millions of customers with protected tariff. To accompany customers to the free electricity market with a cost-effective and safe solution, Eni gas and light presented the new SceltaSicura offer, which offers a discount of 20% on the energy price set by the Authority. It was also illustrated how the Company intends to guarantee a personalized experience, promoting products and offers based on customer needs and behavior. It was then presented a progression of Genius, the new generation of digital tools (https://enigaseluce.com/genius) that allows you to customize and manage the home energy.

Eni gas and light, even in this new scenario, will continue to strongly believe in the dialogue with the Consumer Associations which has made it possible to achieve important goals, including: the creation of a Joint Observatory for self-regulation on unsolicited activations, which made it possible to create a permanent discussion table with stakeholders from the consumer world; the start-up for over a year of the ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) Body, recognized by ARERA, aimed at resolving any disputes with customers in a simple, free and fast way, without resorting to judicial proceedings thanks to a shared system of rules between the Company and Consumer Associations.

To consolidate and maintain a relationship of transparency and trust with the Consumers' Associations, Eni gas and light will organize specific territorial meetings throughout Italy, also in the 2018. The continuous constructive confrontation, listening, cooperation and problem solving are and will always be the modalities that characterize the Company's modus operandi in the relationship with its stakeholders.
