In the top ten in the Aerospace, Defense and Security sector, Leonardo Spa is the first company to obtain ISO 37001 certification: 2016, "Anti bribery management system", the first international standard on anti-corruption management systems.
The result achieved demonstrates Leonardo's commitment to a responsible management of the business, inspired by the best practices in the sector and based on the continuous strengthening of the risk management and internal control system, with the aim of preventing, detecting and combating corruption .
The certification was issued at the conclusion of a verification process conducted by RINA, an independent certification body accredited by Accredia (National Body of Accreditation of Certification and Inspection Bodies) and Italian leader in conformity assessment. The analysis concerned the structure and adequacy of the management system of Leonardo Spa and, in a second phase, its concrete application in the various operating realities of the company. During the journey, which began at the beginning of the year, all the company's regulatory system was verified, all the main Italian company sites were inspected and the heads of the departments - Corporate and Divisional - were interviewed to oversee the identified risk.
The certification has thus confirmed the quality of the internal rules and controls system and is an expression of the professionalism and ability of Leonardo's resources, who are daily involved in the consolidation of the business management model, launched in 2014, and inspired by full compliance with the rules and a zero tolerance approach towards corruption.
