On Volpi aboard Ship Margottini, European Multi-Mission Frigate (FREMM) parked in Kuwait City, for the naval campaign in the Middle East and the Arabian Sea (MOMA).
Nave Margottini as part of its presence and surveillance in the area, to protect the maritime traffic lines of national interest, is making a series of stops in the main ports of the Arabian Peninsula also in favor of the enhancement of Italian technological excellence.
The activities carried out in the field of international cooperation with the countries of the area with which Italy maintains important industrial relations, are aimed at systematically promoting the products of the "Country System", with important economic and employment effects both for the great ones for small and medium-sized local businesses.
The Middle East and Arabian Sea region - continues Volpi - represents an area of primary national interest in which the country is committed to strengthening a significant presence, in qualitative and quantitative terms, protecting its position in a very competitive and dynamic context .
It is one of the reference regions for the energy supply of the country and for the safety of global maritime traffic, the driving force of stability and growth.
