The President of the National Presidia Association (ANP), Antonello Giannelli and the Chief Services & Stakeholder Relations Officer Eni, Claudio Granata, today presented at the Eni headquarters in Rome, the joint program of meetings on environmental sustainability issues dedicated to Italian schools . The initiative stems from the need to train the teaching staff of schools of all levels who, from the school year 2020/2021, will have civic education as a compulsory subject of study in the school programs, with the need to carry out in class 33 total hours of lessons.
The programs will refer to article 2 of law 92/2019, which states: "Civic Education develops knowledge of the Italian Constitution and the institutions of the European Union in schools to substantiate, in particular, the sharing and promotion of principles of legality, active and digital citizenship, environmental sustainability and the right to human health and well-being ".
Starting today, Eni and ANP will organize seminars on environmental issues throughout Italy, to support schools and train teachers by supporting their design skills. Eni's experience in the field of environmental sustainability will make it possible to provide updated and punctual information and in-depth courses; the PNA, through its structures present throughout the national territory, will be able to reach schools of all levels and levels in a capillary way.
The four macro themes that will be treated by Eni's experts will be: climate change, energy efficiency, waste and environmental remediation.
The seminars, completely free of charge, will start today in Rome and will continue in Milan on January 28 (live streaming on the ANP website), in Bologna on January 29, in Cuneo on February 12, in Palermo on February 13, in Naples on February 17 , in Ancona on February 19 and in Bari on February 20.
Subsequently, at the end of the seminar cycle, participants will be able to freely access materials, insights and didactic itineraries through a dedicated area of the website www.anp.it.
