Eni gas and light meets the national representatives of the consumer associations

The annual meeting between Eni gas and electricity and the National Representatives of the Associations of the National Council of Consumers and Users (CNCU) was also held this year.

The meeting was an opportunity to take stock of the collaboration activities between the Associations and the company. In addition to the usual topics, this year the parties discussed the needs of consumers in this transition phase characterized by the effects of the pandemic and the imminent end of the energy protection market.

Over the last year, the company has continued to implement initiatives characterized by the centrality of the customer: 2020 was in particular the year in which even more strength was given to listening to the needs of consumers, from the first telephone contact or at the physical store until the subsequent stages of the complaint and conciliation. Attention to the consumer also took the form of initiatives aimed at preventing and sanctioning incorrect behavior in the contracting phase of customers, providing a dedicated line for reporting and disseminating useful advice to defend against frauds typical of the energy market through the communication campaign. The subject of the discussion is also the recent innovations that have led Eni gas and light to become a Benefit Company, assuming the statutory commitment, towards its shareholders, to balance the interests of the latter, the public and all stakeholders.

Finally, extensive attention was given to the Superbonus and the energy efficiency interventions carried out thanks to CoatMio, Eni's gas and light service for the energy requalification of buildings, the proposals for the electric recharging of vehicles and the installation of systems. photovoltaics carried out through the subsidiary Evolvere.

In fact, Eni gas and light strongly believes in the centrality of the customer, a principle that now guides the choices of the company even more, and, for this reason, the close collaboration with the Consumer Associations is confirmed as an essential element of this strategy.
