President of the High Council of State (HCS) Khaled Al-Mishri discussed with Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte about the latest preparations for the Palermo Conference on Libya of 12 and 13 November.
The two sides also discussed a number of issues of common concern, including more efforts in the fight against smuggling of fuel and Libyan oil.
Al-Mashri also referred to the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the two countries on the exchange of prisoners, which Conte promised to follow up, according to the HCS information office.
