Italian Deputy Foreign Minister Emanuela Claudia Del Re arrived on Monday in Tripoli with a high-level government delegation.
On his arrival, he held talks with Libyan Foreign Minister Mohammed Sayala on the relations of both countries. He also extended an official invitation to Sayala to attend the Palermo Conference on Libya, scheduled for the upcoming 12-13 November.
Subsequently he held separate meetings with President of the High Council of State Khaled Al-Mishri and Deputy President of the Presidential Council Ahmed Maiteeq, where he also extended the official invitations for the conference.
The Italian official also discussed with the three Libyan officials the best ways to make the conference a success.
