F-35, the British fear for continued maintenance

In England the first doubts arise about the F-35 fifth-generation multi-role fighter which could be subject to technological problems, lack of spare parts and limited operation. According to the British newspaper "The Times", recalling that the United Kingdom Ministry of Defense has already purchased 17 F-35 and plans to acquire 138 in total at a total cost of over 9 billion pounds (approximately 11 billion) . The aircraft will be loaded on the two aircraft carriers of the British navy, one of which is already operational. In the past few days, the first F-35 squadron has left its base in Norfolk to carry out a first cycle of overseas exercises in Cyprus. Meanwhile, reports the "Times", bad news arrives from the United States. The US Accountability Office, the public accounting control body, found that, in the 2018, the US Air Force F-35 remained on the ground for 30 for one hundred percent of the time due to lack of spare parts and for the need to carry out continuous repairs.
