Tests of the first F-35B assembled in Cameri, in the province of Novara, where the Final Assembly and Check Out (Faco) is located, are underway at the Pax River air base in Maryland, the center where the fifth generation low observability supersonic jet. The plane, tail code BL-01, landed at Pax about two weeks ago, ”explains the US chief engineer. At this moment, adds Maack, the first F-35B aircraft assembled in Italy by Lockheed Martin and Leonardo "is carrying out a series of tests on electro-magnetic effects: in practice we verify that all the electrical components of the aircraft, including the shielding, are made according to the procedures.
