Florence: policewoman grabs a man from the low wall of a bridge

The subject, after threatening to jump down, was placed in safety by the officers of the flying cars who then entrusted him to the 118 sanitary ware

Yesterday morning, in Piazza Puccini, several bystanders witnessed a real "flight rescue" of a man by a police officer of the Florence Police Headquarters.

The subject, a Romanian citizen of 40 years already known to the police, according to testimonies collected on the street by the police, would have initially damaged the mirror of a car parked in Via Baracca; then, in an evident state of alteration, he would have climbed onto the wall of the Piazza Puccini bridge, beginning to shout incomprehensible phrases.

In a few moments the agents surrounded him, determined to let him get off safely; however, despite several attempts to restore it to calm, the 40enne continued to threaten to launch itself off the wall, getting closer and closer to the edge.

So, while one of the veterans of the flying cars - thanks to his long experience in the field - distracted him, the young policewoman entered the scene who with great quick reflexes grabbed him on the fly, dragging him to the ground. The man was then entrusted to the 118 health workers.
